After an Export Order: What a Thai Brand Can Expect

For a Thai brand that already sells its goods, once an international buyer places an order through an export channel like Pimmycool, a natural question is what happens behind the scenes and how much the brand itself needs to be involved. In general, the process that follows is fairly straightforward, and the brand's part in it is limited to the early stage.
Once the international buyer confirms an order, the first step is agreeing on the quantity needed. Pimmycool then buys the goods from the brand at a wholesale price for that confirmed quantity. In practical terms, this is a domestic sale between the brand and Pimmycool: once the goods are handed over, ownership has already passed. It is not a consignment arrangement where the brand waits to be paid until an end buyer purchases the goods.
What the brand needs to prepare is straightforward: supply the goods in the confirmed quantity, packaged and labelled the same way they normally sell, with nothing extra required. Alongside that, the brand should provide accurate product information, such as product name, pack size, label ingredients, and quantity shipped, since these details get used to prepare the documentation for export.
After the goods are received from the brand, the order may be consolidated with goods from other brands or other shipments going out around the same time, so that shipping makes sense as a batch. From there, export documentation is prepared and shipping to the buyer's country is arranged, work that sits outside the brand's responsibility from that point on.
A key point is that the brand's involvement generally ends as soon as the goods are handed over. After that, the export side deals directly with the international buyer, customs procedures, and delivery through to the destination. The brand does not need its own contact with the foreign buyer, and does not need to learn the import requirements of the destination country itself.
One thing that does affect the overall order timeline is how long a brand needs to get its stock ready. Brands that typically need more time to prepare goods should say so early, when the order details are first being discussed, so the whole timeline can be planned around that instead of surfacing close to the handover date.
In short, for a Thai brand, this kind of export order amounts to one wholesale domestic sale, paid the same way any wholesale sale is paid, without having to deal with the international buyer, customs, or destination-country requirements directly. The brand's job is simply to get the goods ready, in full and correctly, as agreed.
